Tis the season to give thanks and count your blessings. I don't know about you, but all of the recent tragedies around the world have really made me stop and appreciate all that I have. Sure we all have our own struggles, but you are blessed beyond imagination in the grand scheme of things.
Please post about what you're thankful for OR what you're looking forward to most this holiday season.
I have reason to be thankful for just about everything in my life that has ever happened. Except for of course death that is the only thing I'm not thankful for. Even the bad experiences have taught me life lessons and not to do it again. But I am really thankful for all of the talents that i have. I am loaded with talent. I can play music (drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and sing decently), i can draw just about anything, I am very creative, and i can build a house with a machete. Or if i had the actual materials i can build a real house from the ground up. I got lucky.
ReplyDeleteI have been thankful for many things. One is my family and for dealing with me. They love no matter what i do. Another Is my friends. They are always there for me when i need them. Last would be my life. I am so thankful for my life and who I am. My life is great with all the people in it and what I gat out of my life. I am one of the most thankful person on earth.

One thing I am looking forward to this holiday season is spending time with my family during Thanksgiving. A few things I am thankful for in my life is my family, especially my mother because she has been with me since I was born, and we have been through everything together whether it is good or bad for me. I am thankful for my great friends that always have my back. I am especially thankful for Nelson. He is always there from me when I need him, he always makes me smile and can cheer me up when I am feeling down.

I'm thankful for my family, friends, and music. I am thankful for these things because they are a very big part of my life. My family and I are very close and they mean a lot to me. My friends and I are super close to and I can talk to them about anything. Music is something I could listen to all day and it tunes people out. I am looking forward to having three Thanksgivings with my family. I am so excited for Christmas and all the good food from both holidays.
I am thankful for many things, one my family and for putting up with me. i am thank for love because if we didn't have love then we would be fighting, I am thankful all my friends because I wouldn't make it through high school .

I'm thankful for idiots that make me seem less dumb. I'm thankful for food so I can stuff my face instead of talking. I'm thankful for honesty that does exist somewhere im sure.

I am Thankful for my family, my dog, having a home to live in, food on the table and for everyday I get to live. What I'm looking forward to this season is all the food and getting together with family. My favorite thing about this season is the food, and I love the colors and the crispy cool weather.
This season I'm looking forward to seeing my family! I'm get to go to South Dakota and see my parents and siblings. It has been about 6 months since I've seen them. I'm also looking forward to all the food I'm going to be eating!!! And of course the football I'll be watching with my dad and brother! I'm thankful for my family and all the good times that we have had.

I am thankful for many things. The first thing I am thankful for is my family. I am happy to have a family that has been though rough times but we are all still there for each other. The second thing I'm thankful for is my friends. I couldn't have asked for better friends that make it worth going to school. I am looking forward to thanksgiving dinner because the food is great and you get to stuff you face then take a nap.
I have a lot t o be thankful for. I'm thankful for my friends and family. Also that I'm able to do the things I do like ride horses, hangout with friends, and go shopping. We get to do a lot of things that not anyone else gets to get to do. I'm just very thankful for everything I get to do.
ReplyDeleteSo this season is a wonderful time with family, food, friends, and LOVE. If the world had none of these it would be a wasteful and sad world. I am thankful for all the people that consider me as their friends and family. God bless AMERICA, God bless the World and what has came of it.

I'm really thankful for my aunt and my uncle Walker for everything they've done for me this year. Since my dad went to jail and me and my mom aren't on very good terms, they've been letting me live with them. It means a lot to me considering they aren't even my parents and they're willing to help me out. If they didn't do this for me I don't know where I would be right now.

This holiday season I am really looking forward to spending time with my family. I am very thankful that I have a family I get to send time with everyday and that I have a house to call home. I am thankful that I get to play basketball everyday after school and I thank God for the ability to play all the sports I do. Sometimes I dont realize how blessed I am but the holidays help show me that I am.

Well I was thankful for 45 miles per gallon, but a cow took care of that for the time being. I guess I'll be thankful for my snake and that before I hit a cow, I got to 28,000 words with my story that I'm writing for National Novel Writing Month. Also hitting the cow gave me some great source material for my Original Works for speech. Well that was pretty neat. Bye.

Beautifully crafted snowflakes falling from the sky one by one, each landing in a soft pile of white snow that sparkles like glitter in the sunlight. The sweet yet spicy smell of cinnamon and ginger in the air all around, everywhere you go. Homes lit up by beautiful colored lights that shine in the night. The feeling of love constantly surrounding you, making you feel more cheerful and jolly than ever before! Egg nog, and sweet, warm ham, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits, and ginger bread men. Poky Pines guarding the gifts as if they were treasure. Christmas carols on every station warming your heart with every beat. The sound of wood crackling in a warm, cozy fire place. Stockings hanging just above waiting to be filled by Santa. It's Christmas time. The way Christmas time makes me feel is what I love most. I feel loved, grateful, happy. I feel peace.

I am thankful for all the opportunities we have in the world. We truly are lucky to live i a country were we are free to take any risk we want or to try to achieve any goal we set. Im also thankful for the FFA. I joined this organization when i was in the 6th grade and have loved every moment of it. It's changed my life and made a better person. This organization has created so many new opportunities for me and really helps guide me where i want to go in life. When it comes to thanksgiving i'm thankful for a lot. And FFA and being free is just 2 of the many things.

There are so many things to be thankful for in my life, especially knowing what others go through on a daily basis. For example, some kids don't know when their next meal is going to be and some have to worry about not having clothes to wear. For me, I do not have to worry about these things, which make me so grateful of the life I have. The things that I am most thankful for would be my family, friends, food and schooling. Some kids, in other countries would die to spend a day at school. Even though it gets so old and miserable some days, it is ultimately a great thing. I cannot wait until Thanksgiving break so I can spend it relaxing with the people that mean the most to me and eating... ALOT.

There are many things to be thankful for this season. I am thankful for my family, friends, and Nicholas who have made my life enjoyable and the many things they have done for me. I am also thankful for my pets and my job. Having food on the table in my home is also another blessing. Another thing we should all be thankful for is for the courage of the soldiers fighting to keep us safe so we can enjoy the holidays with our loved ones.

This holiday season, I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for my family, friends, my home, food, and the clothes on my back. I'm also thankful for living in a country that we can be free. Lately, there has been many tragedies around the world. It really makes you appreciate what you have and the life you live. I really wish that the evil that is happening wouldn't happen. I wish that the world would be a peaceful place.

I am thankful for many things whether it be this holiday or any time of the year. I am thankful for my family, Lane and his family, my pets, food, sports, my job, my car, may dad, I am thankful for everything that is in my life. I don't know what i would do without all of the things I love in my life. I am thankful for everything my dad does for me. Without him and my grandma I wouldn't have nothing. I wouldn't hardly have food, or I wouldn't have had anyone in my life to always have my back and be there for me. Sports are important to me because I love being active and playing volleyball and soccer. I am thankful for having my job because without it I wouldn't have money for gifts for birthdays and Christmas. I wouldn't have gas money to drive to and from school. I would be broek and dependant on my dad for everything and i don't like that. I am just thankful for everything in my life because without it I would have nothing.

I am thankful for so many things my family, my school, my friends. I have such an amazing support group. Without this group I couldn't do all the things I have accomplished. I have so many great things going on in my life. I got accepted to the college I have been thinking about for two years. I was also offered a scholarship as well. I am so thankful that is my last year of highschool. I am going to miss it but at the same time I am glad to move on with my life.

The recent events that have been happening throughout the world have also made me stop and think about how lucky I am. That being said, I am so thankful to be safe, have a family that loves me, and have amazing friends to spend time with. I am also very thankful for food and books. These two things are definitely the material things that I am most thankful for. I am typically the happiest when I am reading or eating. This holiday season, I can't wait to curl up on the couch with a book, see my family at epic Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, and I'm just so excited to be in the holiday spirit! This is my favorite time of year because it is a time to be thankful for everything God has blessed us with, and to enjoy the company of the people that mean the most to us.

I'm not looking forward to much this holiday season. We don't do anything extravagant for Thanksgiving or Christmas; my mother and I just stay home and have our own dinner. One thing I am looking forward to though is the long breaks we have. I'm going to miss seeing my friends in person for a while, but Christmas vacation means no responsibilities. I'll get stay in bed all day and relax, which I never get to do.

I am thankful for a lot that has happened in my life. Even for the bad things because they really do teach us lessons that will help us later in life. I'm thankful for my family that is caring, the people in my life, I'm thankful that I got to move to Stover and I'm here doing things I love such as music, and the sports I play. Many people don't get the opportunities that I do. I can do all this with loving family with support and will let me keep trying to do new things. I love the job I have, eh for the most part, and I'm thankful for it as well. I can't wait for Thanksgiving where I get to see my grandparents and even though I have to work I find it good that I don't have a lot of dinners to go to. Really though I can not wait for the Christmas season. It has family, love, gathering, and again the thanks of Christ, I cannot wait.

ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my freedom. Not only my freedom to live in this country and this world, but my freedom as a citizen to make my own choices, and have my own opinion on things. I can believe in something that other people may not believe in, and I can't make choices different from what others want me to make. I am thankful for my free will, and my ability to vary from the rest of the crowd.
